The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, and Sikkim for today. The weather agency has predicted thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, and Uttarakhand until tomorrow. Similar conditions are expected in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, East Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Vidarbha. The Met Department has also predicted thunderstorms and lightning over coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, and the northeastern states until tomorrow. Meanwhile, hot and humid weather conditions are expected in Kerala and Mahe today.
