
February 27, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the Post-Budget webinar on “Technology, Reforms, and Finance for Viksit Bharat” today.
The webinar covered discussions on public capital expenditure, infrastructure, banking sector reforms, the financial sector architecture, deepening capital markets, and ease of living through tax reforms.
This webinar is the first in a series of Post-Budget webinars being organized on key themes emerging from the Union Budget 2026–27.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi stated that India has demonstrated extraordinary resilience over the past decade, and that this is due to reforms driven by conviction.
The Prime Minister said that India's resilience is not a matter of chance, but the result of reforms driven by conviction. He stated that processes have been simplified, the ease of doing business has been improved, technology-led governance has been expanded, and institutions have been strengthened. He added that the nation is benefiting from these reforms and emphasized that, to sustain this momentum, the focus must not only be on policy and intent, but also on delivering excellent results.
