Nazira (Assam), Apr 1 Hours after the increase in commercial LPG cylinder prices, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on Wednesday that the impact of the West Asia conflict has been felt in India sooner than expected due to the flawed policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an election rally, Vadra said that more difficulties could lie ahead due to the policies of the BJP-led NDA government.
"If Modi had maintained slightly balanced policies, and had not made the country dependent on America and Israel, then this situation would not have occurred so quickly," she asserted.
Prices of commercial LPG cylinders were hiked by Rs 195.50 on Wednesday, following a surge in global oil prices linked to the West Asia conflict.
"There is indeed a global crisis, but we also need to understand that more problems could arise due to certain policies of the government," Gandhi said.
