
Ranchi, March 11 Panic and uncertainty gripped hotel and restaurant owners across Jharkhand on Wednesday as the supply of commercial LPG cylinders was disrupted amid the worsening West Asia crisis.
Owners of restaurants, hotels, and catering businesses warned that they may be forced to scale down services and offer only breakfast and tea if the situation persists.
"The state has over 5,000 hotels, in addition to a large number of restaurants and dhabas, all of which depend on commercial LPG cylinders. Fresh bookings for commercial cylinders have stopped, and when we try to make bookings, we often receive responses such as 'the number you have dialed is switched off,'" chairman, Hotel and Banquet sub-committee of FJCCI, Arvinder Singh Khurana, told
