
New Delhi, April 7 Over 10,000 flights operated by Indian airlines to West Asia have been cancelled since the conflict began in the region, a senior official from the Ministry of Civil Aviation said on Tuesday.
Indian airlines previously operated 300-350 daily flights to West Asia, but the number has decreased to 80-90, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Asangba Chuba Ao, told reporters during a media briefing.
The conflict in West Asia began on February 28 when the US and Israel attacked Iran, which retaliated.
