Kolkata, March 21 West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited Governor R N Ravi at Lok Bhavan here on Saturday.
While entering Lok Bhavan, Banerjee told reporters that she had been invited for tea by the newly appointed governor when he took oath on March 12.
The chief minister had earlier questioned the sudden resignation of previous Governor C V Ananda Bose and the appointment of Ravi to the post.
Assembly elections in West Bengal will be held next month, with elections to the 294-member House scheduled in two phases – on April 23 and April 29. Votes will be counted on May 4.
