
February 23, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written an emotional letter to the people of West Bengal, calling for a "Fear-free, Corruption-free, and Violence-free" Sonar Bangla.
In his message, the Prime Minister outlined his goal of building a prosperous Bengal in the coming months. Highlighting achievements, he cited the opening of 5 crore Jan Dhan accounts, the construction of 85 lakh toilets, and the distribution of over 1 crore Ujjwala connections.
He also promised citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) for refugees and pledged to crack down on infiltration. Criticizing past administrations, he said 60 years of mismanagement must come to an end.
