Jaipur, March 20 Several parts of Rajasthan received light to moderate rainfall over the past 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said on Friday.
The rainfall, caused by a western disturbance, has also led to a drop in temperatures across the state, it said.
Nokha in Bikaner recorded the highest rainfall of 25 mm during a 24-hour period ending Friday morning.
Maximum temperatures in most parts of the state remained 2 to 8 degrees Celsius below normal on Thursday, according to the weather office.
The impact of the western disturbance is likely to continue on Friday in parts of northeastern Rajasthan, including the Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions, while the weather in most other regions is expected to remain mainly dry.
Weather conditions are likely to remain largely dry in most parts of the state for the next four to five days, it added.
