
February 23, New Delhi – The second phase of the Khelo India Winter Games 2026 is set to begin in the northern region of Jammu and Kashmir today, with nearly 400 athletes competing for glory.
Officials have stated that all arrangements have been made for the four-day event at a renowned ski resort in Gulmarg. The event will be inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Gulmarg will feature four medal events: Ski Mountaineering, Alpine Skiing, Nordic Skiing, and Snowboarding, with Alpine Skiing likely to attract the highest participation.
The first phase of the Games was held in Leh from January 20 to 26 this year, while the second phase, featuring snow events, is being held at Gulmarg from February 23 to 26.
