Vadodara, March 5 A 28-year-old woman, a head constable, allegedly committed suicide at her residence in the police quarters in Vadodara district, Gujarat, officials said on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 11 pm on Wednesday, and police found no suicide note at the scene, they said.
Head constable Priyanka Prajapati allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her residential quarters in the Bapod area. Upon being alerted, a police team reached the scene and found that the door of her house was locked from the inside.
