March 12, New Delhi – President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Global Conference on the Role of Women in Agri-food Systems.
The conference, inaugurated by President Murmu today in New Delhi, will be held from March 12-14, 2026, at the ICAR Convention Centre, NASC Complex, New Delhi.
The conference theme, "Driving Progress, Achieving New Heights," aligns with the global focus on women farmers.
Addressing the event, President Murmu stated that India has focused on women-led agricultural development, ensuring that women remain at the center of overall development.
