
Mumbai, February 17 Actress Karisma Kapoor shared a glimpse of her recent exclusive roundtable, which included Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, describing the experience as an "honor and privilege" on her social media account.
Karisma posted a group photograph from the private gathering, featuring a select group of successful women from various fields, discussing women's empowerment and leadership.
In the photograph shared by Karisma, the actress is seen wearing a soft yellow traditional outfit, standing alongside Queen Rania Al Abdullah.
Karisma wrote, "It was an honor and privilege to be part of a private roundtable in the esteemed presence of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah alongside such inspiring women engaged in heartfelt dialogue on women's empowerment, leadership, and the future."
She added, "Moments like these serve as a powerful reminder that when women come together with purpose, honesty, and vision, they not only shape conversations but also help shape the future for the next generation. I am grateful to have been a part of something so meaningful."
Talking about Karisma Kapoor's journey in Bollywood, the actress made her debut with "Prem Qaidi" in 1991 and went on to become one of the leading stars of the 90s Bollywood era. She delivered several hits, including "Raja Hindustani", "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Biwi No.1", "Hero No.1", "Coolie No.1", "Saajan Chale Sasural", and "Judwaa".
Besides commercial projects, Karisma also received critical acclaim for her powerful performances in "Fiza", "Zubeidaa", and "Shakti: The Power". She also won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for "Dil To Pagal Hai".
On a personal front, Karisma married businessman Sanjay Kapur in 2003, after which she took a break from her career. The couple has two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. After a decade of marriage, Karisma and Sanjay separated and were granted a divorce in 2016.
