April 02, New Delhi: Trade ministers concluded the 14th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Yaoundé, Cameroon, on March 30 after four days of intensive discussions.

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal highlighted three major decisions from the conference:

* Strengthening trade logistics for smoother global commerce

* Enhanced support for small and vulnerable economies

* Concrete measures to curb illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing in the fisheries sector

The conference aimed to advance multilateral trade cooperation and address pressing global trade challenges.
