Yadav Accuses Gandhi of Irresponsible Politics Amidst West Asia Conflict.webp

Nepanagar (MP), March 15 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday accused Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, of indulging in reckless politics over cooking gas despite the delicate situation arising from the ongoing West Asia conflict.

Yadav made the remarks while addressing a tribal conference in Nepanagar in Burhanpur district.

He said that oil installations are being destroyed in the raging conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran, and that war is looming large over all of Asia.

"Despite such a difficult situation, the Congress is indulging in irresponsible politics over cooking gas," Yadav said, asserting that there was no shortage of domestic or commercial cooking gas in India.

The only ones who are concerned about this are the Congress, whose leaders are staging a protest, he said.

The chief minister said that everyone knows that India has to depend on other countries for oil and gas, but even in the delicate atmosphere of the West Asia conflict, Rahul Gandhi is indulging in "baseless politics".

"If Gandhi continues with such politics, the Congress will remain out of power for the next 50 years as people know everything," he said.

Yadav also claimed that Congress leaders had made baseless remarks after the Russia-Ukraine war broke out, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured the safe evacuation of Indian students stranded in war-hit areas.

"Gandhi keeps making a mockery of democracy every now and then. Whenever India faces challenges, he is off abroad enjoying himself. Then he complains that he is not given time to speak in the Lok Sabha," the CM said.

Yadav said that whenever Gandhi spoke in Parliament, it harmed the Congress politically.

During the tribal conference, the chief minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works worth Rs 363 crore in Burhanpur district.

He also announced the restoration of the Asirgarh Fort in collaboration with the Archaeological Department and the development of tourism facilities at the site.
