'Yadav Ji ki Love Story' Faces Protests Amidst Similar Controversy.webp

Mumbai, February 18 – The controversy surrounding “Yadav Ji ki Love Story” is escalating as the Yadav community has opposed the film's release in the Sambhal district.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against four individuals, including the film's producer, director, and lead actors, following a complaint by members of the Yadav community. The community alleges that the film has offended their sentiments and should be banned. The FIR was registered at the Dhanari police station in the Gunnaur tehsil of Sambhal on Wednesday.

The complaint was filed by Arvind Kumar, a resident of Bhakrauli village. He arrived at the police station with over two dozen people and submitted a written complaint to the police. The case has been registered against producer Sandeep Tomar, director Ankit Bhadana, actress Pragati Tiwari, and actor Vishal Mohan.

Currently, the situation remains unclear regarding the film's release, but controversy, discussions, and protests are ongoing in the area.

A spokesperson for the protesting community told IANS, "In the film, our Yadav community is portrayed as honest. Our Yadav community's daughter has seen a distorted story in it. The history of our Yadav community is one of bravery. This film misrepresents our community's history. No one has the right to do this. The Supreme Court has already made its decision. You cannot make a film or movie using the name of any community or religion."

He further added, "There is a girl named Pragati Tiwari who is playing the role of Yadav's daughter. We want this film to be banned, and we will also take action against those responsible. We will also take action against those who gave permission for this film. Until this film is banned, we will not take any large-scale action. Our Yadav community knows how to deal with such situations."

This comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the “Ghuskhor Pandit” film, which is facing backlash from the Brahmin community.
