
JAMMU, MARCH 18: Commissioner Secretary, Cooperatives, Yasha Mudgal, chaired a meeting at the Civil Secretariat to review the operational status and liquidation roadmap of the Jammu & Kashmir State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (J&KSCARD Bank).
Officials, including Registrar Cooperative Societies Mohammad Shafiq Chak, briefed the meeting on the bank's current position and progress of the liquidation process under the J&K Cooperative Societies Act, 1989. The appointment of liquidators is in its final stage.
Yasha Mudgal directed that the liquidation should be conducted in a transparent, systematic, and time-bound manner, ensuring full legal compliance and protection of stakeholders, especially depositors. She also emphasized coordination among departments and agencies like NABARD for smooth execution.
