KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 24: The District Youth Services & Sports Department organized a trial-cum-selection event for U-17 and U-19 boys' football teams at Chowgan Ground, as part of the Youth Engagement Programme 2026 – League of Classics.
Under the guidance of Anuradha Gupta and the supervision of Pankaj Kumar Sharma, the event was coordinated by DYSSO Jaffer Haider Sheikh. Young footballers from Kishtwar and surrounding municipal areas enthusiastically participated, demonstrating their skills and competitive spirit.
The initiative aims to promote grassroots football by providing structured competition and offering exposure to emerging talent in the district.
