Youth Festival at University of Jammu Focuses on Empowerment

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, inaugurated ‘Goonj 2026’ at the University of Jammu, emphasizing youth empowerment, innovation, and leadership. He highlighted the importance of fostering balanced minds and bold innovators to drive sustainable development and national progress through intellectual and creative strength.

Srinagar, February 27: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, inaugurated ‘Goonj 2026’, a two-day youth festival at the University of Jammu, describing it as a unique platform aimed at nurturing innovation, creativity, and leadership among young minds.

Addressing the participants, the LG stated that the festival would provide young people from various disciplines the opportunity to collaborate and collectively shape the future. He noted that the event is designed to educate the mind, energize the body, and ignite innovation.

Emphasizing the crucial role of young people in nation-building, Sinha said that empowered youth are the architects of the future. He underscored the need to foster intellectual depth, creative strength, and innovative leadership to accelerate national progress.
