February 28, Srinagar: The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2026 was organized on Tuesday at Government Degree College Anantnag, with participation from students and young leaders.
The event aimed to amplify youth voices and promote engagement in democratic processes as part of the vision for a developed India.
MLA Anantnag West, Abdul Majeed Larmi, attended the program as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Larmi emphasized the importance of youth participation in nation-building and encouraged students to engage in constructive democratic dialogue. He said that platforms such as the Youth Parliament provide young people with an opportunity to express ideas, debate policies, and understand the functioning of democracy.
