POONCH, FEBRUARY 24: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) for Mission YUVA convened today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma.

In a significant boost to youth entrepreneurship and self-employment, the committee approved 153 new cases, marking another key milestone in the Mission YUVA initiative.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik; GM DIC Naheem Un Nissa Bhatti; Chief Agriculture Officer Jograj Salathia; Medical Superintendent; Lead District Manager (LDM); District Sheep Husbandry Officer; AD Handicraft/Handloom; along with members of the Small Business Development Unit (SBDU) of Mission YUVA.

Committee members engaged in detailed deliberations and shared valuable inputs to enhance transparency and streamline the implementation process.

Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to ensure the timely processing and disbursement of approved cases. He underscored that Mission YUVA goes beyond financial support, aiming to empower youth and nurture a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the district.

He also directed the Lead District Manager to ensure prompt disbursement of funds to enable beneficiaries to launch their ventures at the earliest.
