RAJOURI, March 6: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting to review the performance of Block Programme Managers (BPMs) in mobilizing Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) under Mission YUVA and Udhyam Jagriti 4.0.
He noted poor performance in 12 blocks and directed immediate corrective action, emphasizing that absenteeism and lack of seriousness by BPMs would not be tolerated. The District Programme Manager (DPM) of NRLM was instructed to submit daily performance reports, and underperforming blocks were given a 15-day deadline to improve.
Sharma also called for cluster-level awareness camps to ensure all Women SHGs are covered under the initiative.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Employment Mohammad Nawaz, District Programme Manager NRLM, BPMs of Kalakote and Rajouri, and other officials.
