JAMMU, APRIL 04: Sakeena Itoo informed the House that ₹17 lakh has been released for the repair and renovation of the Mini Maternity-cum-Child Care Hospital (MMCH) in Zakoora, Srinagar.
Responding to a notice from Salman Sagar, she stated that the project had previously been stalled due to the building being occupied by security forces, which was vacated in 2025.
The Minister added that renovation work will be undertaken as soon as a revised, cost-effective Detailed Project Report (DPR) is prepared to make the hospital functional.
