New Delhi, March 30 Zinc prices rose slightly on Monday, increasing by Rs 2.25 to Rs 317.60 per kg in futures trading, due to increased demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 2.25, or 0.71 percent, to Rs 317.60 per kg, with a trading volume of 771 lots.
Traders attributed the rise in zinc futures to increased speculation by participants.
