New Delhi, March 6 Zinc prices rose slightly on Friday, increasing by 45 paise to Rs 324.95 per kg in futures trading, despite cautious trading due to a lack of significant catalysts.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery increased by 45 paise, or 0.14 percent, to Rs 324.95 per kg, with a trading volume of 50 lots.
Traders attributed the slight increase in zinc futures to limited buying at lower levels, even though a lack of fresh catalysts kept overall sentiment cautious.
