New Delhi, February 19 Zinc prices fell by 90 paise to Rs 326.65 per kg in futures trading on Thursday, as speculators reduced their exposure, driven by negative signals from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery declined by 90 paise, or 0.27 percent, to Rs 326.65 per kilogram in a trading volume of 103 lots.
Analysts said that the reduction in positions by participants, due to decreased demand from consuming industries in the physical market, primarily affected zinc prices.
