Zinc Prices Decline Due to Reduced Consumption.webp

New Delhi, March 24 Zinc prices fell by Rs 1.85 to Rs 307.20 per kg in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators reduced their exposure, following negative signals from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery declined by Rs 1.85, or 0.6 percent, to Rs 307.20 per kilogram in a trading volume of 100 lots.

Analysts said the reduction in positions by participants, due to reduced demand from consuming industries in the physical market, primarily affected zinc prices.
