New Delhi, April 1 Zinc prices fell by 50 paise to Rs 320.15 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators reduced their exposure, driven by negative signals from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery declined by 50 paise, or 0.16 percent, to Rs 320.15 per kilogram in a trading volume of 95 lots.
Analysts said that the reduction in positions by participants, due to reduced demand from consuming industries in the physical market, primarily affected zinc prices.
