Zinc Prices Fall as Speculators Reduce Exposure.webp

New Delhi, March 11 Zinc prices fell by 5 paise to Rs 328.80 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators reduced their exposure, driven by negative signals from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery slipped by 5 paise, or 0.02%, to Rs 328.80 per kilogram in a trading volume of 78 lots.

Analysts said that the reduction in positions by participants, due to reduced demand from consuming industries in the physical market, primarily impacted zinc prices.
