New Delhi, March 2 Zinc prices rose by Rs 1.70 to Rs 331.10 per kg in futures trading on Monday due to increased demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 1.70, or 0.52 percent, to Rs 331.10 per kg, with a trading volume of 109 lots.
Traders attributed the rise in zinc futures to increased speculation by participants.
