The ZPM-led government is focused on making Mizoram the first fully digital state in India, according to Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma.

Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma stated that the ZPM-led government is prioritizing digital connectivity, particularly in remote villages where mobile network coverage and internet services are still unavailable. He also mentioned that the government is working closely with BSNL to expand connectivity across the state.

During the Assembly session, the House Leader stated that only 20 villages remain outside the current phase of the connectivity initiative. He expressed confidence that once the ongoing project with BSNL is completed, Mizoram will be well-positioned to claim the distinction of becoming India's first digital state.

Pu Lalduhoma further highlighted that the government has begun taking steps to integrate Artificial Intelligence into its development agenda. He noted that efforts are underway to improve AI-based translation tools in the Mizo language, with plans to enhance their accuracy and efficiency.
