16 Injured Including 10 Policemen in Highway Collision Near Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh

Shajapur (Madhya Pradesh), April 11 — At least 16 people, including 10 on-duty police personnel, were injured in a road accident involving a bus and a car on the Agra-Mumbai national highway in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district during the early hours of Friday.


According to Bharat Singh Kirar, in-charge of Sunera police station, the incident occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., approximately 12 km from Shajapur district headquarters. The police officers were traveling from Bhind district to Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) in a bus when the collision took place.


The impact caused both the bus and the car to overturn. Although 16 individuals sustained injuries, no serious injuries have been reported.


Upon receiving information about the mishap, local authorities promptly arrived at the scene. Emergency teams rescued the victims from the damaged vehicles and transported them to the Shajapur district hospital for treatment.


Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed that the bus rammed into the car, though official confirmation is still awaited. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
