AFI Announces Delay in Scheduled Event in Bhopal​

New Delhi, May 10 – The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) has officially announced the postponement of the 23rd National Junior Federation Athletics Championships, originally scheduled to be held in Bhopal from May 27 to 29, 2025.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the AFI cited the inability of the local organisers in Bhopal to host the event as the primary reason behind the decision.

"The 23rd National Junior Federation Athletics Championships, which was scheduled to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from 27th to 29th May 2025, has been postponed since they have shown their inability to conduct the meet," the AFI said.

The federation added that fresh dates and the new venue details for the postponed championships will be announced soon.
