New Delhi, May 11 – A 36-year-old man lost his life in a tragic road accident after a tempo allegedly rammed into his bicycle near the Azadpur Mandi area in Outer North Delhi early Saturday morning, police reported on Sunday.
The victim, identified as Dilip Shah, was on his way to work along with a neighbour when the fatal collision occurred around 5:30 am near the Libaspur bus stand.

Shah’s neighbour, who was accompanying him, informed the police that both had set out on bicycles from their homes at 5 am en route to Azadpur Mandi. As they neared Libaspur, a speeding tempo allegedly struck Shah from behind.
“Dilip fell to the road and suffered a severe chest injury. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead by the doctors,” the neighbour recounted.
A case has been registered, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace and apprehend the tempo driver.
