50-Year-Old Man Shot Dead in Outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar; Investigation Underway

New Delhi, April 11 — A 50-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar East on Friday morning, sparking a police investigation into the broad daylight attack.


The victim, identified as Rajkumar, was travelling in a vehicle near SBI Colony when the attackers opened fire. The incident occurred around 7:15 AM, prompting an immediate response from local police after receiving a PCR call reporting multiple gunshots in the area.


Police teams rushed to the scene and transported Rajkumar to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him brought dead.


Authorities have cordoned off the area, and a forensic team has been deployed to examine the crime scene. "We have registered a case and initiated a probe," said a police officer familiar with the investigation.


As of now, the motive behind the killing remains unclear, and the identity of the assailants is yet to be determined.
