Bulandshahr (UP), Feb 2 (PTI) – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a sharp attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi, claiming that its "shop of lies" will shut down on February 8, the day of the Assembly election results.

Addressing a gathering in Bulandshahr during a private event, Saini criticized the AAP government, stating that even after a decade in power, Delhi continues to struggle with fundamental issues such as contaminated water and overflowing drains.

"For the past 10 years, AAP has deceived the people with false promises. Their shop of lies will finally close on February 8. They have worked for themselves, not for the people," Saini said.

He further asserted that Delhiites have already decided to oust AAP and bring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to power in the February 5 Assembly elections.

BJP Confident of Victory in Delhi

Also present at the event were Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak, who echoed Saini’s sentiments. Pathak stated that the BJP is set to secure a massive victory in Delhi, as voters have seen through what he called Kejriwal’s "politics of lies and deceit."

Maurya and Pathak expressed confidence that the lotus (BJP's election symbol) would bloom in Delhi, signaling the end of AAP's governance.

The high-stakes Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled for February 5, with vote counting set for February 8.
