Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Be Happy’ Set for Prime Video Premiere on March 14

New Delhi, Feb 26 – Actor Abhishek Bachchan is set to captivate audiences with Be Happy, a heartfelt film exploring the deep bond between a father and daughter. Directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D’Souza, the movie will premiere on Prime Video on March 14.

Known for his work in ABCD, Street Dancer 3D, and Race 3, D’Souza helms the project featuring a stellar ensemble, including Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Inayat Verma, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi.

In Be Happy, Bachchan portrays Shiv, a devoted single father raising his sharp-witted and ambitious daughter, Dhara (played by Inayat Verma). Dhara dreams of performing on the country’s biggest dance reality show, but an unforeseen crisis threatens to derail her aspirations. Determined to keep her dream alive, Shiv embarks on an extraordinary journey—challenging fate, rediscovering himself, and understanding the true essence of happiness.

The film is produced by Remo D’Souza Entertainment Pvt Ltd, led by D’Souza’s wife, Lizelle Remo D’Souza.

Speaking about the film, Remo D’Souza called it a passion project that celebrates the universal and emotional connection between a father and daughter through music and dance. "Lizelle and I wanted to bring this special relationship to life authentically and uplifting," he said.
