Total Operational Renewable Capacity Rises to 14,340.9 MW
New Delhi, May 14 – Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Ltd, has successfully operationalised a new 50 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat.With this latest addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity now stands at 14,340.9 MW, reinforcing its position among India's leading renewable energy players.
In a company statement, AGEL confirmed the milestone, stating that the incremental solar power project was commissioned under its subsidiary and marks another step in expanding the company's solar footprint in the region.
The Khavda site continues to be a strategic location for Adani's renewable energy developments, aligning with the company’s broader goal of accelerating India’s transition to sustainable power.
