New Delhi, March 1: Air India Express has launched direct flight operations from Hindon Airport in Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant expansion in regional air connectivity. The inaugural flight took off on Saturday, heading to Goa.

In a statement, the airline announced that it will operate 40 weekly flights from Hindon, offering direct connections to Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Jammu, and Kolkata.

With this launch, Air India Express becomes the first airline to operate from both Hindon (HDO) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in the National Capital Region (NCR). The move is expected to enhance accessibility for travelers in Eastern and Northern Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad, and western Uttar Pradesh, according to Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express.

Currently, Air India Express operates over 400 flights daily, further strengthening its domestic network and boosting regional connectivity.

This expansion aligns with the airline’s strategy to improve access to key destinations while leveraging Hindon Airport’s strategic location.
