Mumbai, February 27 – Veteran Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane has been announced as the brand ambassador for the West Zone Finals of the SOGF Grandmasters Series, set to take place in Mumbai on March 3-4.
Following the overwhelming success of the South Zone 1 leg in Bengaluru, the Skillhub Online Games Federation (SOGF) is now bringing the prestigious Grandmasters Series to the West Zone. The championship, which has attracted an impressive 1,50,000 registrations, has firmly established itself as one of India's premier skill-based mind sports competitions in its online format.

- Indian Rummy Grandmasters (IRG) – 78,000 players took part in the online qualifiers, narrowing down to 150 finalists.
- Indian Chess Masters (ICM) – 3,500 players registered, with 32 players (16 men and 16 women) advancing to the finals.
- Indian Chess Masters for the Blind (ICMB) – 16 top players were selected through zonal qualifiers, conducted by the All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB).
