Philadelphia, May 10 – Indian-American golfer Akshay Bhatia held on to his position in the top five after carding an even-par 70 on the second day of the Truist Championship. Bhatia, who fired an impressive 63 in the opening round, now sits at a total of seven-under-par (63-70).
Bhatia is currently tied-fourth alongside top names such as Justin Thomas (66-67), Rory McIlroy (66-67), Collin Morikawa (63-80), Si Woo Kim (65-69), and Patrick Cantlay (65-68).

Starting from the first hole, Bhatia had a mixed round that featured three birdies and three bogeys. He dropped a shot on the fourth, recovered with back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh, but faltered again with a bogey on the ninth.
