All India Police Commando Competition Begins with NSG Chief's Inauguration.webp

The Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG), B Srinivasan, inaugurated the sixteenth All India Police Commando Competition in Manesar, Gurgaon, today. Addressing the participants, the Director General of NSG welcomed the teams and emphasized that the competition is not just a test of strength or speed, but also of composure, judgment, and discipline under pressure. He stated that the competition is being conducted in a transparent and professionally structured manner, with independent juries ensuring fairness.

This year's edition features 24 teams, comprising nearly 800 commandos from Central Armed Police Forces and State Police Forces. These teams represent units routinely involved in counter-terrorism operations, urban intervention, hostage rescue, and the protection of critical assets, reflecting both a competitive spirit and a shared commitment to operational readiness.
