Mumbai, May 15 – Allcargo Group, a leading logistics conglomerate, has appointed Ravi Jakhar as Director for Strategy and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), further strengthening its leadership team to drive long-term growth and operational excellence.
Jakhar, who has been serving as the Group Chief Strategy Officer since 2020, will now lead the group’s strategic and financial functions. In his expanded role, he oversees CFOs across all Allcargo Group companies, including ECU Worldwide, Allcargo Terminals, Allcargo Gati, and TransIndia Real Estate.
According to a company statement, his responsibilities will span key functional areas such as legal, internal audit, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions through group-wide Centres of Excellence.
He will work closely with Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Allcargo Group, to shape strategic priorities and institution-building initiatives. Jakhar will continue to oversee the Latin America and Oceania regions and manage the group’s various global joint ventures.

During his tenure as Group Chief Strategy Officer, Jakhar has led critical projects including mergers and demergers, capital raising, M&A activities, and investor relations. In 2024, he also took charge of ECU Worldwide’s Latin America operations, further expanding his leadership scope within the group.
