Alliance University Announces ALF 4.0: Celebrating 'The Asian Century'

BENGALURU, India, Feb. 3, 2025 — Alliance University is set to host the fourth edition of the Alliance Literary Festival (ALF 4.0), a highly anticipated three-day celebration of literature, culture, and intellectual discourse, from February 13 to 15, 2025. With the theme "The Asian Century", the festival will explore Asia’s profound influence on global culture, economy, politics, and art, offering a unique platform for intellectuals, policymakers, academics, diplomats, and culture enthusiasts to engage in meaningful conversations and immersive experiences.

This year’s festival boasts an impressive roster of over 120 speakers from more than 25 countries, including prominent figures such as:
  • Javed Akhtar, renowned Indian screenwriter and lyricist
  • Asako Yuzuki, esteemed Japanese author
  • Palki Sharma Upadhyay, influential Indian journalist and voice of the Asian Century
  • Anil Kumble, legendary cricketer
  • Sanjay Patel, Indian-American animator, Pixar director, and Oscar nominee
  • Rajdeep Sardesai, acclaimed Indian journalist
  • Perumal Murugan, distinguished Indian novelist
Asia, long regarded as the cradle of civilization, continues to shape global discourse through its rich history of innovation, wisdom, and storytelling.
