In Rajasthan, eight people have died after a major fire broke out in a factory in Tapukara, a town in the Alwar district. Police and administrative officials have begun relief and rescue operations. Firefighters are working to extinguish the flames. More people are feared to be trapped inside the factory. The incident reportedly occurred at a cardboard factory in the Khushkhera industrial area. According to eyewitnesses, a fire broke out in the early morning following a loud explosion in the factory, and within a short time, it quickly escalated and became uncontrollable. ADM Sumitra Mishra stated that the bodies of all seven workers have been recovered. The rescue operation is ongoing.
