Union Home Minister Amit Shah will virtually flag off an extensive 6,553 km cycle rally organized by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to commemorate the paramilitary force’s 56th Raising Day. The ambitious "CISF Coastal Cyclothon 2025" aims to reinforce coastal security while increasing public awareness along India’s eastern and western coastlines.

Massive Cyclothon Covering India’s Shores
Set to begin simultaneously from Gujarat in the west and West Bengal in the east on March 7, the cyclothon will see 125 CISF cyclists, including 14 women, traverse a combined distance of 6,553 kilometers over a period of 25 days. The western leg will cover approximately 3,775 kilometers, while the eastern leg spans 2,778 kilometers.
