Audi India Reports 17% Sales Growth in Q1 2025 Driven by Strong Product Portfolio

Audi’s Premium Models and Enhanced Supply Chain Fuel Strong Start in 2025

German luxury automobile giant Audi recorded a robust 17% rise in its first-quarter sales for 2025, selling 1,223 units in India compared to the same quarter last year. This surge underscores Audi India's successful strategy to leverage its extensive product range, bolstered by a stabilized supply chain environment, the company said.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, commented, “This growth compared to the previous year same time underscores the confidence our customers have in brand Audi and the strength of our product portfolio. Having successfully navigated supply challenges in 2024, we are well-equipped to meet the increasing demand for luxury mobility in India.”

Audi Q7 and Audi Q8 Drive First Quarter Success

The standout performers contributing significantly to Audi's growth were the flagship SUVs—Audi Q7 and Audi Q8. These models strengthened the brand’s performance momentum, extending last year's achievements when Audi marked an important milestone, surpassing 100,000 cumulative car sales on Indian roads.

Pre-Owned Segment Sees Impressive 23% Surge

Additionally, Audi's pre-owned car division, 'Audi Approved: plus', continued its strong performance, reporting a substantial 23% growth in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the corresponding quarter in 2024. This reflects growing consumer preference for premium-quality pre-owned luxury vehicles.

The robust Q1 2025 figures showcase Audi’s strategic emphasis on product diversification and a strong recovery from previous supply chain constraints, setting a positive outlook for continued growth in India’s evolving luxury car market.
