Bajaj Auto Limited (BSE: 532977, NSE: BAJAJ-AUTO) has announced a solid sales performance for the month of January 2025, with overall growth driven by robust export performance in both the two-wheeler and commercial vehicle segments. The company, which manufactures motorcycles, scooters, and commercial vehicles, reported a 7% increase in total sales compared to the same month last year.

  • Total Sales for January 2025: 3,81,040 units, up 7% YoY from 3,56,010 units in January 2024.

    • Domestic Sales: 1,71,299 units, down 11% from 1,93,350 units in January 2024.

For the period from April to January 2025, Bajaj Auto’s overall sales surged by 8%, reaching a total of 39,29,072 units, up from 36,38,367 units in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

    • Domestic: 19,78,452 units, up 4% YoY.
    • Exports: 13,88,707 units, up 14% YoY.
    • Total: 33,67,159 units, up 8% YoY.
  • Commercial Vehicles:
    • Domestic: 4,04,344 units, up 4% YoY.
    • Exports: 1,57,569 units, up 22% YoY.
    • Total: 5,61,913 units, up 8% YoY.
The company’s domestic market, although facing challenges with a 9% drop in total sales in January, continues to benefit from increased export volumes, which have risen by 37% in the month of January alone.
