New Delhi, May 12 — Bajaj Electricals Ltd reported a staggering two-fold increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 5,905 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024–25, compared to Rs 29.31 crore in the same quarter last year, as per a regulatory filing made on Monday.

Revenue Grows Steadily in Q4​

The company’s revenue from operations rose by 6.5% year-on-year to Rs 1,265.47 crore during the January–March quarter, up from Rs 1,188.08 crore in the corresponding period of FY24. Total income for the quarter reached Rs 1,281.65 crore, registering a 5.87% year-on-year growth.

Segment-wise, the Consumer Products division saw a notable increase of 8.38%, generating Rs 994.01 crore in revenue, compared to Rs 917.08 crore in Q4 FY24. The Lighting Solutions segment also posted marginal growth with revenue touching Rs 271.46 crore.

However, the company's total expenses rose to Rs 1,231.77 crore in the March quarter.

FY25 Annual Performance Highlights​

For the full financial year ended March 31, 2025, Bajaj Electricals recorded a net profit of Rs 133.42 crore, representing a 2% decline from Rs 135.88 crore in FY24. Nonetheless, the company’s total consolidated income increased by 3.2% to Rs 4,883.21 crore.

Dividend and Market Reaction​

In a significant development, the company's board approved a 150% dividend, equating to Rs 3 per share on the face value of Rs 2 each for FY25.

Following the strong Q4 results and the dividend announcement, shares of Bajaj Electricals surged 16.38%, trading at Rs 618.20 per share on the BSE on Monday.
