Tirupati, April 4 – In a generous gesture, a devotee from Bengaluru, MS Sundar Ram, has donated two converted light commercial vehicles to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for distributing Annaprasadam (free food) to pilgrims at Tirumala.
The donation was formally handed over on Friday, with Sundar Ram presenting the vehicle keys to TTD Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary. The temple trust confirmed the vehicles will be pressed into immediate service.
“These vehicles will be very useful for distributing Annaprasadam to the devotees. Each can serve up to 3,000 people at a time,” said Chowdary in a press statement issued by TTD.

Highlighting its donor appreciation program, TTD reiterated that contributors who donate over ₹1 crore are eligible for exclusive spiritual privileges. These include:- Darshan privileges:
- Srivari Suprabhata Seva Darshan: 3 days for the donor and four accompanying persons
