Bengaluru Metro Extends Services Till 12:30 AM on IPL Match Days

Extended Metro Timings to Ease Post-Match Commute for Cricket Fans​

Bengaluru, April 1 – In anticipation of the upcoming IPL T20 cricket matches in the city, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced an extension in the operational hours of metro services.

On match days, the last trains from all four terminal metro stations—Whitefield (Kadugodi), Challaghatta, Silk Institute, and Madavara—will now depart at 12:30 AM, ensuring late-night connectivity for fans returning home after the games.

Additionally, the final train from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station Majestic, the central hub, will depart towards all four directions at 1:15 AM, providing ample time for spectators to reach the station post-match.

IPL Match Dates in Bengaluru​

The IPL matches scheduled in Bengaluru are set to take place on the following dates:

• April: 2nd, 10th, 18th, and 24th
• May: 3rd, 13th, and 17th

The move is expected to ease traffic congestion and enhance safety for late-night commuters, particularly on high-footfall match days.
